Here’s a map of the Henry Knox Trail, available at battlefield.org, where you can explore the story behind this incredible journey. The Knox Wagon Train, a significant event in the American Revolution, commenced on December 7, 2025. I had the honor of walking from Fort Ticonderoga to Lake George on the first day of this 250th anniversary.

On a snowy day in January 2026, the Knox Wagon Train arrived at the Springfield Armory. The NPS staff and all contributing groups made this a wonderful event to witness and participate in. Each group provided valuable information and demonstrated a high level of professionalism. We arrived on Friday and took a comprehensive tour of the Armory’s extensive collection.

This sequenced parade of regional recognition will incorporate the invitation and participation of town managers, local historians, celebrating the commemoration and respective connections in the Noble Trail of Artillery.
